Suffolk County Divorce Records
Suffolk County divorce records are official documents on the legal dissolution of marriages within the Family Division of the Suffolk Circuit Court. These documents outline the terms of marriage separation, such as property division, child support and custody arrangements, and spousal support.
The Suffolk Circuit Court has exclusive jurisdiction over all divorce cases within the county. Unlike most Suffolk Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court records, Virginia classifies divorce records as public documents. Consequently, anyone can access divorce records in Suffolk County unless the documents are sealed.
